When processing the personal data of the users of the ROMEA association’s web services, ROMEA, o.s. (hereinafter "ROMEA") proceeds in accordance with the most recent wording of Law No. 101/2000 Coll., on the protection of personal data, Law No. 127/2005 Coll., on electronic communications, and Law No. 480/2004 Coll., on some information society services, as well as other legal regulations.

ROMEA guarantees all of the readers of news server Romea.cz protection of the personal data they provide to the association. ROMEA does not collect any personal data that its readers do not voluntarily provide. Should we need data from you that might identify you (personal data) or that would make it possible for us to contact you for the purposes of providing a product or service you have requested, we will expressly ask you for that data. All data collected in the context of persons using our services might normally include your first and last name, your e-mail address, and the online nickname you use. For some of our paid services (e.g., subscriptions to the magazine Romano voďi) we may need more information.

In the context of using our services we may gather certain other information about you, such as the name of your internet service provider and the IP address through which you access our services, the date and time of your access, etc.

ROMEA does not process the personal data of the users of our services for any purposes that are unlawful and only for purposes to which our users have expressed consent. These data are processed only to the extent necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above and are retained by us only for the time necessary to fulfill said purposes, or at the most for the time specified by the relevant legal regulations and in accordance with them.

ROMEA may permit third parties to access our users‘ personal data only when such access is facilitated or prescribed by law or with the consent of the user.
